Little animals at the Zoo
Spring Break was tough. I don't know why, but it was an extremely loooooong and painful week (I am now seriously starting to dread this summer). On one particular day when I was afraid that I was just going to snap I took the kids to the Zoo instead. The kids were good and cute and had a lot of fun. I was hot and sweaty and exhausted, but thier lives were spared and for that we are all grateful.

A perfect lunch
I was traveling yesterday and so Doug and the kids got home from church before me. When I walked in the door, this is what I found.
I love that it is 3:00 in the afternoon and they are all in their pajamas and snuggled up on the couch eating their "cheese grills" as Tiger calls them.

An Easter Tale
Tiger, you will take a picture with your mother and you will like it. I know that there are eggs to be opened and candy to eat, but smile dang it, and then you can fill yourself with sugar.
KK: Why does mom always make us pose for these ridiculous pictures? Seriously, how many is she going to take? That's it, I'm not even going to try to smile anymore.

It's a Spring Break Miracle!
It is Spring Break for my little ducklings. So far I am quite proud of myself for not physically harming them in any way because it has been rough. But those are gripes for another day. What is shocking is that in the midst of all of this craziness, Tiger has apparently decided that he is ready to potty train. Now I tried this many months ago and he had ZERO interest whatsoever, but low and behold on the first day of Spring Break he decides that he must wear underwear. I humored him and just expected him to get wet, which he did. But then this afternoon, after a VERY long morning, and a VERY long afternoon at the zoo, and then a VERY insane bathing session with the kids, Tiger decided that he wanted to sit on the potty and watch Wonder Pets. As soon as he sat down, he did it!! I am still in shock. The kid is almost 4 and I really didn't expect to do this until this summer. Well, once again the kid is proving that he will do things on his own terms. I just hope this goes well. I am getting old and tired you know.
