I'm such a great mom

I knew that Sparky's shoes were getting to be on the small side, but I thought I could put off buying him new shoes for a bit longer. Well, apparently not. He informed Doug this evening that his feet were feeling a little bit numb and that they kind of hurt. After a bit of investigation Doug discovered that Sparky's shoes were quite a bit more than on the small side. Oops. Is it considered child abuse to continue to send your child to school in little torture traps for shoes if your child (who is 9, by the way) fails to tell you when he has outgrown those shoes? Sheesh! Never fear, Sparky is out shoe shopping as I type.
