Just For Fun

The good thing about having a brother that lives out of town is that you get to go and visit, so that's just what I did. I packed my bags and headed west to spend a few days with these precious little bundles. Oh my, do I love them.

As soon as this boy saw me, he jumped in my arms, snuggled in, and fell fast asleep.  It was dreamy.

One of us parents is more fun than the other one

Doug is not the kind of Dad who just sits around all day lazily watching TV or wishing to be left alone. He is a man who likes to be out and about (really, the opposite of me). This day was no exception. Last Saturday it was chilly and drizzly. I thought that it was a perfect day to hang out at home, but Doug saw it as the perfect day to go to the Zoo. He loves to take the kids to the Zoo on days like this. It is never crowded and the animals are always out. So, he packed up the kids and headed out on an adventure. They all had a blast.
