Semi-Annual Soccer Pictures

The tournament is tomorrow. It's been a great Spring season.

Today

1.  I am thinking about my boy, my youngest boy. He just makes me so happy I can hardly stand it and I just want to eat him alive and squeeze him tight so that he can't grow up any more (at least for a little while). He is my baby and I am having a hard time letting go of the fact that he really is not a baby anymore at all. Not even close. But he does still say some really cute things such as this: "I really, really wish I had a pet birdie. Or a weasel. Mom, what's a weasel?" Also, I love the fact that he loves to dress up. Every afternoon he puts on his Spiderman or his Buzz Lightyear costume (both of which are totally too small) and he runs up and down the street playing with his friend and living in his world of pretend.

2. We put Tiger in soccer this season. As of right now, soccer is not his sport, but he does really like making himself fall down on the ground for no reason whatsoever during the games.  When he's not falling down he's just standing there, wishing he were anywhere but on the soccer field.

3. We only have 9 more days of school. This is both good and bad.

4. If the definition of a fool is someone who continues to do the exact same thing, time after time, but expecting different results, then I am a fool. True stuff.

5. If I were a super hero and laundry was my arch nemesis, my arch nemesis would be totally annihilating me right now and the world would be in jeopardy.

6. My dear sister introduced me to eyebrow threading. It is amazing and I am totally sold. Also, I am long overdue for a good threading. Please don't look too closely.

Very Belated Easter Pics

The day before Easter was gorgeous, which tends to be rare, and so we were able to color our eggs outside. This was genius! No mess inside my house and I didn't have to worry about dye getting on my table. Every Easter weekend should be this nice so that we can color our eggs outside.
It was so bright Tiger had to wear his hat.
Artistic juices were flowing.
After we colored eggs we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for an egg hunt. The kids love this and Grandpa always has good surprises in the eggs.
Each kid had their own eggs to find. This is what Tiger's eggs looked like. Sparky's were sports themed and KK's eggs were decorated with colored squiggly lines.
Looking for eggs.
Just a girl having fun.
Tiger, proud of his ability to find his eggs.

A couple of Tiger videos

Tiger feels that when we do our exercises in the morning he should be wearing his Spiderman costume. It just makes sense to him. Watching him lift weights, I can see why.

My boys are totally obsessed with the band Imagine Dragons. As you can see, today Tiger decided to have a dance party to his favorite song "Radioactive". After the dance party I showed Tiger some videos of the band on YouTube. As he watched part of a concert he asked, "Is this a talent show? Is that guy a rock star?" And then he said, "Those guys are my friends."

Today is a day

I haven't picked my camera up in so very long which means that I don't have any fun pictures to post which means all I can do is continue to post about my daily life through nothing but words.

My little man is home sick today. He is a pitiful, snotty, moaning sort of mess. He is on a strict diet of TV, movies, and more TV with perhaps some video games thrown in for dessert. Although I really need him to be much better by tomorrow so that I can send him to school so that I can go out to lunch with a friend. I love to go out to lunch.

My wonderful mother was kind enough to come over today to help me with my kitchen. The kitchen is going to be great when it is all done, but for right now I have way too much stuff and not enough places to put it. This causes me to wander around the kitchen aimlessly, talking to myself about where on earth I am going to put everything. Sadly the talking to myself part isn't anything new.

Only 19 more days of school.
